Message from Andrea Warriner Managing Director, AMI Impact
Happy New Year!
As we usher in 2024, we at AMI Impact are excited to bring you the first edition of our new and improved AMI Impact Insights newsletter
Every quarter, we’ll be sharing new trends and data based on our work delivering practical programmes for impact at scale across Africa, alongside many of the world’s leading development partners.
Our focus at AMI Impact in 2024 remains steadfast: to deliver measurable job creation, livelihood and business growth outcomes, by enabling ambitious African entrepreneurs, businesses, leaders, and young talent to thrive.
Harvesting Lessons from 2023, to seed Impact in 2024
In 2023 we placed outsized focus on food systems, thanks to the sector’s potential for outsized impact - both on food security and climate.
In Harvesting lessons as we build Africa’s food systems we review 3 lessons from our work to bolster leadership and BDS in the food systems space. In Post COP28, Keep the Doors Open for Women to Lead Africa’s Climate Solutions
we make the case for investment in women entrepreneurs and leaders as a powerful mechanism for climate impact.
For a more detailed exploration of our work across leadership, small business development and youth skilling, we invite you to
request an AMI Impact Briefing with our team. Finally, if you’re planning on coming to Sankalp in Nairobi this February, RSVP to save a spot at our first Impact Meet Up event of the year.
Looking forward to scaling our collective impact across Africa in 2024!
